The Morais lab, together with Carlos Catalano's lab at UC Denver and Doug Smith's lab at UCSD, has been awarded a $1.8 million R01 by the NIGMS institute of the NIH. The multi-PI 4- year grant will investigate how dsDNA viruses process and package their genomes.
