This center houses a recently purchased state of the art Thermo-Fisher Talos Arctica cryo-transmission electron microscope that allows imaging of individual proteins and of multimeric protein complexes. Additionally this center contains a 100 kV JEOL JEM 1010, a 300 kV JEOL JEM 3200FS transmission electron microscope, a recently purchased Thermo-Fisher Taneo scanning electron microscope. The center has staff that maintains this instrumentation and also trains users.
